„An open MIND can change the world“
Our mission statement is the vision of an open, democratic, and science-oriented society. Together with all social groups, businesses, educational providers, and political actors, we address current challenges: the decline of democratic values, polarization, the rise of extremism and isolationism, and the transformation of our debate culture through alternative facts and the ignoring of scientific findings. We understand social life holistically—from education and critical thinking to a fact-based debate culture and the strengthening of scientific literacy among all age groups.
In the spirit of a diverse and democratic society, we want to contribute to ensuring that all people are treated as equal and have equal rights, while ensuring that everyone is entitled to the free development of their personality and is respected in society. For us, diversity is not only a social principle, but also a central value for science, democracy, and global cooperation. To survive in a changing world and preserve diversity, we need resilience, openness, and the ability to negotiate complex issues critically and fact-based.
In addition to fostering a culture of respectful debate, our goal is to promote digital and science-based skills as well as personal skills to empower people from all social groups to assume responsibility and play an active part in this transformation process. The corporate philosophy of MIND gGmbH is guided by the conviction that knowledge, dialogue, and collaboration are the foundation of a future worth living.
Our mission statement is our vision of a sustainable and socially just way of life for our society in harmony with nature. Together with all social groups, companies, educational providers, and political actors, we strive to find answers to the challenges of our time, such as digitalization, the climate crisis, and discrimination and social division. As MIND gGmbH, we understand social life holistically. This includes successful integration into the labor market, social participation, and a strong environmental awareness.
In the spirit of diversity, we want to contribute to ensuring that all people in our society are treated as equal and have equal rights, while ensuring that everyone is entitled to free personal development, which is equally tolerated within society. However, diversity is not only an important issue for us in society; therefore, we also pursue the promotion of diversity in the labor market and in the environment. To survive in a changing world and preserve diversity, resilience and adaptability are needed in all areas of society.
In addition to a sustainable and resource-efficient way of living and working, it is necessary to strengthen the digital and media skills, as well as the professional and personal abilities, of all social groups in order to enable them to assume responsibility and be an active part of the transformation process. The corporate philosophy of MIND gGmbH is guided by the guiding principles of the State of Hesse's sustainability strategy in order to participate in shaping a livable future for our society.
